Fraud Policy

1. Introduction
Central Training Partners Ltd, trading as SBD Academy, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of our operations. This policy outlines our approach to preventing, detecting, and responding to fraud, dishonesty, and academic misconduct.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all students, educators, staff, contractors, and any third parties associated with SBD Academy. It covers all forms of fraudulent activity including, but not limited to, financial fraud, identity fraud, and academic fraud.
3. Types of Fraud
Financial Fraud
- Providing false financial information to obtain funding or payment plans
- Using stolen payment details to enrol in courses
- Falsifying expense claims or invoices
Identity Fraud
- Impersonating another person during enrolment or assessment
- Providing false identification documents
- Having someone else complete assessments on your behalf
Academic Fraud
- Submitting work that is not your own
- Falsifying assessment results or portfolio evidence
- Misrepresenting qualifications or prior experience
4. Prevention
SBD Academy takes a proactive approach to fraud prevention. All applications are reviewed individually, identity verification is conducted at enrolment, and our assessment processes include multiple checks to ensure the integrity of our qualifications.
5. Reporting Fraud
If you suspect any fraudulent activity, we encourage you to report it immediately. Reports can be made confidentially to compliance@sbd.school or by calling 020 8050 4624. All reports will be treated in the strictest confidence and investigated thoroughly.
6. Consequences
Any person found to have committed fraud may face immediate expulsion from their course, revocation of any certificates issued, referral to relevant authorities, and legal action where appropriate. Each case is assessed on its own merits.
7. Review
This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and up to date with current legislation and best practices.
